Title: Evaluation of the effect of circuit training with the use of labile surfaces on the postural stability in the general population Objectives: The main aim of this diploma thesis is to evaluate the effectiveness of circuit training using unstable surfaces on the static and dynamic postural stability in the general population. Methods: This study is among quantitative experimental studies. The research was done from June 2021 to January 2022. The research involved 40 probands of the general population. The probands were randomly divided into two groups of twenty. The intervention group practiced during circuit traings for 2 months with unstable surfaces, the control group practiced circular training without any unstable surfaces. Dynamic and static postural stability was measured by functional tests: Star Excursion Balance test, Unipedal Stance test, Timed Up and Go test, Sit to Stand test and Functional Reach test. These tests were used before and after the intervention. The following statistical methods were used in both of their groups: Shapiro-Wilk test, paired T- test, Mann-Whitney U test. The level of statistical significance was determined using α = 0.05. Clinical significance was calculated by using Cohen's d. Results: The results of the study showed that unstable surfaces have some...

Title: Physiotherapy treatment of a patients after surgical implantation of total endoprothesis. By using exercise and diagnostic device Imoove with unstable surface Abstract: Bachelor thesis is focused on the issue of surgical implantation of articular endoprosthesis. Currently this is one of the most frequently performed operations. In the theoretical part, current informations of hip and knee replacement surgery and subsequent rehabilitation are processed. Selected devices with a balance platform are presented. Aim of the practical part was to evaluate the therapeutic effect of two-weeks long rehabilitation on the Imoove device after surgical replacement of the knee or the hip joint. Five patients were tested two times: 3 weeks and 3 months after surgery. Between these two tests the results were improved in the six of seven categories. The therapy with Imoove device has had a positive effect on the patients. Key words: balance platforms, endoprothesis, Imoove device, posture
Physiotherapy for patients with low back pain in the lumbar spine with the present use of unstable surfaces
ŘEZÁČOVÁ, Lucie
This bacheolor thesis deals with the physiotherapy in patients with low back pain in the lumbar spine with the present use of unstable surfaces. Low back pain, or low back pain syndrome is mark for pains in different parts of spine. These dificulties are very common reason for doctor´s visits and also one of the most common causes of incapacity or work. The number of these patients is still rising and most serious is, that these problems affect more and more the younger generation too. Back pain is so common, because they have many causes. Among one of them we can include way of today´s life, change of lifestyle and we can say that a certain comfort of the population. The aim of the theoretical part of this thesis was to describe the low back pains, their causes, examination and therapy, including several options for physiotherapy of low back pains, which is also include the use of unstable surfaces. The aim of the practical part of this thesis was to map effect of exercises using unstable surfaces for specific patients with low back pain in the lumbar spine, which was achieved through the use of qualitive research, using four case reports, which consisted of four patients with low back pain in the lumbar spine. For each of them was performed eight therapies in which were used the unstable surfaces. The results have been assessed according to the input and output kinesiology analysis. In some patients, there were irregularities or ommisions of exercise, or inappropriate ergonomics activities and this has also been affected by pain, which drew less than in patients who practiced regularly and tried to follow the ergonomics of work. Therefore, you can say with certainty, that if you experience regular exercise, to improve the health status of the patient's improvement of including their mental state, thanks to the disappearance of pain and related restrictions in carrying out certain activities.
